We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Subject Access Officer - QSW to join our team in Durham. As a key member of our Qualified Social Work department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and facilitating subject access requests.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Process subject access requests in a timely and efficient manner Review and redact sensitive information in accordance with data protection laws Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for requests Provide guidance and support to staff on data protection and subject access matters Maintain accurate records of all subject access requests and outcomes

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker (QSW) certification Demonstrated experience in handling subject access requests and data protection compliance Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including GDPR and Data Protection Act Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and prioritize workload effectively
