Long Term Safeguarding -QSW - East Riding of York

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Long Term Safeguarding -QSW to join our team in the East Riding of York. As a Qualified Social Worker in this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals within the community.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the level of risk and protection needed for service users.
  • Developing and implementing care plans that address the specific needs of individuals and promote their safety.
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to coordinate support services for clients.
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of service users.

Essential qualifications and skills for this role include:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration and experience in safeguarding.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to safeguarding vulnerable adults and children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work autonomously, make sound decisions under pressure, and manage a complex caseload efficiently.

Additional requirements for this position may include a valid driver's license, as some travel within the East Riding of York may be necessary.
