We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Fostering Service team at Hull City. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and safeguarding vulnerable children and young people in need of foster care.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Assessing the needs of children and families to determine suitable fostering placements
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to foster carers to ensure the well-being of children in their care
  • Conducting regular home visits and reviews to monitor the progress and development of children in foster placements
  • Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to coordinate services and support for children and families
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate and detailed case records and reports

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting
  • Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
