We are seeking a dedicated and experienced LAC Senior Social Worker to join our team in Leeds City. As a key member of our Qualified Social Work department, you will play a crucial role in supporting Looked After Children (LAC) and ensuring their well-being and safety.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Provide high-quality social work services to Looked After Children and their families
  • Conduct assessments, create care plans, and monitor the progress of children in care
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver holistic support
  • Advocate for the best interests of children and ensure they are safeguarded
  • Participate in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews as required

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration
  • Demonstrated experience in working with Looked After Children and knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and upholding ethical standards
