We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced PERM CIN Social Worker to join our team in Leicester City. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing support and intervention to children in need and their families.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments to identify the needs and risks of children in need (CIN)
  • Developing and implementing care plans to safeguard and promote the welfare of children
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to provide holistic support
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to ensure the best outcomes for children
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to children and families in challenging situations

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., BA in Social Work)
  • Registered with Social Work England and up-to-date with CPD requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children in need and their families
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify risks and develop effective interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
