Join our dedicated team in Gloucestershire as a Children’s Social Worker within the Children and Families (C&F) Team. We are seeking a passionate and qualified individual to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in our community. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, professionals, and external agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of children, providing support and guidance through challenging circumstances.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and their families.
  • Developing and implementing care plans that promote the welfare and safety of children.
  • Working closely with families to provide support, advice, and interventions.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records of all casework and interventions.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
  • Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
