The London Borough of Haringey is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Assessment/Safeguarding Team within Adult Services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults in need of support and safeguarding interventions.
  • Developing and implementing person-centered care plans that promote independence and well-being.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and family members to ensure holistic support for clients.
  • Monitoring and reviewing care plans to ensure effectiveness and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Providing advice, support, and advocacy to clients and their families regarding available services and resources.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in adult social work, particularly in assessment and safeguarding.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and safeguarding practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
