As a Qualified Social Worker in our LAC Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing care plans for children in care. Working collaboratively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care, ensuring their needs are met. Providing guidance and support to foster carers and adoptive families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (degree or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience working within a children’s social care setting, specifically with looked-after children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience working with children and families in a social work setting, particularly with looked after children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
