We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Bromley Safeguarding & Care Planning Team on a temporary basis. This role offers a competitive rate of £39.04 per hour (Umbrella) and provides an opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults, ensuring that their needs are met through effective care planning and intervention.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans that address identified risks and promote positive outcomes. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and timely case records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they are informed and involved in the care planning process.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in safeguarding and care planning within a statutory setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with service users and professionals. Excellent assessment and analytical skills to inform decision-making.
