Are you an experienced social worker with a passion for safeguarding adults? Staffordshire is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practitioner for our Adults Safeguarding team. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert guidance, support, and leadership to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults within our community. Your expertise will be vital in promoting best practices, enhancing team performance, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

As an Advanced Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:

Leading complex safeguarding assessments and investigations. Providing professional supervision and support to social work staff. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop and implement safeguarding plans. Ensuring that adult safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to. Contributing to training and development initiatives for staff and stakeholders.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant post-qualifying experience in adult safeguarding or related fields. Strong analytical and assessment skills, with the ability to manage complex cases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to collaborative working.
