Are you an experienced Adults Social Worker looking for your next locum opportunity in a fast-paced, front-door service? We're working with a local authority in Beverley, East Yorkshire to recruit for an Independence & Advice Hub role - a key first point of contact for adults needing support, advice, triage and timely intervention.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a front-door team where your assessment skills, professional judgement and ability to manage referrals effectively will make a real difference from day one.
The Role
As part of the Independence & Advice Hub, you'll be working in a busy and rewarding service handling:
Incoming referrals and triageScreening and prioritising adult social care contactsProviding advice, guidance and short-term interventionMaking informed decisions around risk, eligibility and next stepsWorking collaboratively with internal teams and partner agenciesSupporting timely access to the right services at the right time
This is ideal for someone who is confident in front-door social work, enjoys making sound decisions in a dynamic environment, and can balance pace with person-centred practice.
