We are seeking a Qualified Social Worker for our Family Safeguarding team in Chichester, West Sussex. In this dynamic role, you will work collaboratively with families to ensure their safety and well-being, while promoting positive change and resilience within the community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Assessing the needs of children and families to develop tailored intervention plans. Working closely with families to build trusting relationships and facilitate their engagement in the safeguarding process. Conducting home visits and monitoring progress to ensure the safety and welfare of children. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to provide holistic support and resources. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation to comply with statutory requirements and organizational policies.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and family safeguarding. Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. The ability to work effectively in a team and manage a varied caseload.
