We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children in Care (CIC) Team in West Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals who are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children and families. You will be responsible for providing high-quality assessments and interventions, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in care, and working collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external agencies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in line with statutory requirements. Providing support, guidance, and advocacy for children and their families throughout the care process. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and support.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly with children in care. Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills.
