🔎 The Role
As a Social Worker in the First Response Team, you will:
- Be the allocated Social Worker completing assessments for children in need, including those requiring protection
- Work with children looked after, those subject to public care proceedings, and private law proceedings when directed by the court
- Take responsibility for the assessment, planning, monitoring and review of all allocated children and families
- Deliver high-quality statutory social work practice within a local authority setting
Your caseload will include children and families requiring statutory intervention, including:
- Children in Need (CIN)
- Child Protection (CP) cases
- Looked After Children (LAC)
