We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Child Protection/Children in Need (CP/CIN) Team in Ashford, Kent. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable children and their families. You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to assess needs, develop care plans, and ensure the safety and well-being of children in our community.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and support needs. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with local policies and legislation. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, promoting positive outcomes for children. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy discussions and decision-making processes.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection or children in need settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Proficient in risk assessment and management, with a sound understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
