The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated Locum Older People's Mental Health Social Worker to join a welcoming and collaborative team in Middlesbrough. Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake comprehensive assessments for older adults with mental health needs
  • Develop and review person-centred care plans
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, families, and partner agencies
  • Manage a varied and rewarding caseload
  • Safeguard vulnerable adults and promote their well being and independence

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
  • Experience working within Older People's Mental Health services (highly desirable)
  • Strong assessment, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently
