We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Assistant Practitioner to join our Children and Families (C&F) Team in Yorkshire. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families within our community. As an Assistant Practitioner, you will work closely with social workers and other professionals to provide support and guidance to children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Assisting social workers in the assessment and planning processes for children and families. Building trusting relationships with children and their families to promote their well-being and safety. Supporting the implementation of care plans and interventions in accordance with best practices. Conducting home visits and engaging with families to gather information and provide support. Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in team meetings and contributing to case discussions and planning.To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant qualification in social care or a related field (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care). Experience working with children and families in a social care setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations. Demonstrated understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
