  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals to determine eligibility for services and support.
  • Developing and implementing person-centered care plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on mental health legislation, safeguarding policies, and best practices in social work.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with local and national standards.
  • Participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contributing to the overall strategic direction of services.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England as an Approved Social Worker.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health legislation and safeguarding practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
  • Proven experience in adult social work, particularly in community settings.
