Rate: £36.75 per hour
Hours: 35 per week (Mon-Fri)
Contract: 3-6 months initially
Caseload: Adults with physical disabilities


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Occupational Therapy Team supporting adults with physical disabilities. This role focuses on delivering person-centred assessments, promoting independence, and ensuring safe living environments through adaptations and equipment provision.


Key Responsibilities

  • Complete functional assessments and develop tailored intervention plans.
  • Recommend and arrange adaptations, assistive technology, and equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, carers, and families.
  • Ensure compliance with the Care Act 2014 and relevant statutory frameworks.
  • Maintain accurate case records and meet service timescales.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.
  • Experience working with adults with physical disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of moving and handling, housing adaptations, and risk assessments.
  • IT proficiency; ability to work independently in a hybrid setting.

Working Arrangements

  • Hybrid model: work from home with occasional office visits.
  • IT equipment provided (collection required for setup).
