Join our dynamic MASH Team in Barking & Dagenham as a Permanent Children’s Social Worker (SSW). We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the welfare and safety of children and families in our community. In this role, you will be instrumental in assessing needs, providing support, and implementing safeguarding measures for vulnerable children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and support. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy discussions. Maintaining accurate and comprehensive case records in line with local policies.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A recognized Social Work qualification (BA, MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Join our dedicated MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) Team in Barking & Dagenham as a Qualified Social Worker specializing in children's services. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for responding to referrals, conducting assessments, and implementing safeguarding measures to ensure the welfare of children at risk.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting initial assessments and investigations in response to safeguarding concerns. Collaborating with other agencies and professionals to develop and implement effective care plans. The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly in a MASH or safeguarding context. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
