Your key responsibilities will include:

Assessing the needs of children and families to create tailored support plans. Conducting regular visits to foster homes, ensuring the welfare and safety of children in care. Providing guidance and support to foster carers, helping them to understand their roles and responsibilities. Working closely with multi-agency teams to coordinate services and interventions. Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within a fostering or children's social work team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child care and safeguarding.
