Supervising Social Worker | Independent Fostering Agency | Derby

  • Locum Supervising Social Worker required to join a not-for-profit Independent Fostering Agency
  • Hybrid working - 1 day in office per week
  • Office base: Derby
  • You must have a social work qualification and full SWE registration
  • Experience of working directly with mainstream foster parents needed
  • Must have Fostering experience from an Independent Fostering Agency, Local Authority or other similar setting
  • Supervising and supporting foster families, in looking after children and young people within their homes and contributing to the recruitment and assessment of new foster families
  • Monthly visits to foster placements as well as supervision visits & unannounced visits
  • Monthly child progress reports
  • Pay rate £35-£38ph
  • Initial 3 month contract which could lead to permanent

To be considered, it is essential that you have a recognised Social Work qualification (Social Work Degree or Diploma in Social Work) and full Social Work England registration as well as recent or significant relevant experience in a similar role.
