Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and reviewing care plans in partnership with families and relevant stakeholders.
- Monitoring and evaluating the progress of children and families, providing ongoing support and intervention as necessary.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in accordance with council policies.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy discussions.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Experience working within a children in need (CIN) framework.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
