Haringey is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Independence & Access team. This pivotal role will involve working with adults to promote independence, well-being, and access to necessary services. You will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, conducting assessments, and developing tailored support plans that empower individuals to achieve their goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and reviews to identify the needs of clients.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other stakeholders.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to junior staff and students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for clients.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant post-qualifying experience in adult social work, particularly in independence and access.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with a proven ability to manage complex cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to promoting client empowerment.
