Assessment Social Worker - Cambridgeshire £39/h
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assessment Social Worker to join our team in Cambridgeshire, offering a competitive rate of £39 per hour. This role is crucial in supporting vulnerable individuals and families, ensuring their needs are met through effective assessments and interventions. As an Assessment Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to promote the welfare and safety of those in your care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of individuals and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with service users and other professionals.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they are informed and involved in the assessment process.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in assessment and intervention within a social work setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
