  • Providing direct support and guidance to children and their families, facilitating access to services and resources.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding strategies.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills, with a clear understanding of child protection legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across different agencies.
