Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
  • Providing direct support and guidance to children in care, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of best practices within the team.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working within children’s services, particularly with children in care.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build relationships with children and families.
