As the Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the fostering team, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and best practice guidelines. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing a team of social workers and support staff to deliver effective fostering services.
  • Providing supervision, guidance, and support to team members to enhance their professional development.
  • Ensuring the assessment, approval, and support of foster carers meet the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

  • A relevant social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in children's social work, particularly in fostering or adoption.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
