We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Team Manager to join our Family Help/Targeted Help Team in Plymouth. In this crucial role, you will support the Team Manager in delivering high-quality services to families in need, ensuring that they receive the targeted support necessary to improve their well-being and resilience. You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, engaging with families to assess their needs, develop tailored support plans, and monitor progress.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the management and supervision of the Family Help/Targeted Help Team. Conducting assessments and developing intervention strategies for families. Providing guidance and support to team members, promoting best practices in case management. Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to coordinate services. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of support plans and interventions. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Experience in a supervisory or management role within a social care setting. Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and colleagues.
