We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to support families in need, ensuring their well-being and fostering positive outcomes. In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in leading casework, providing expert guidance to social work practitioners, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality services to families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored support plans for families. Providing supervision and mentorship to junior social workers, ensuring adherence to best practices. Engaging with families and stakeholders to promote effective communication and understanding. Leading case reviews and contributing to strategic planning within the Family Help Team. Staying up-to-date with relevant legislation and policy changes to inform practice.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and family support work. Strong leadership abilities and a commitment to developing others.
