Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Team Manager to lead our dynamic social work team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee service delivery, ensuring that our team provides high-quality support to vulnerable children and their families. You will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies that promote the welfare and safety of children while fostering a positive team environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading a team of social workers and support staff, providing guidance, supervision, and professional development. Managing casework and ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures. Collaborating with external agencies, stakeholders, and community organizations to enhance service delivery. Monitoring and evaluating team performance, implementing improvements as necessary. Conducting regular team meetings and fostering a culture of open communication and collaboration.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in children's social work. Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising social work teams. In-depth knowledge of child protection legislation and best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Case Manager to join our Youth Offending Team in Camden. This role is pivotal in supporting young individuals who have come into contact with the youth justice system, helping them to navigate challenges and achieve positive outcomes. As a Children's Case Manager, you will work closely with young people, their families, and various stakeholders to develop tailored intervention plans that promote rehabilitation and reintegration into society.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of young people’s needs and risks. Developing, implementing, and reviewing individualized support plans in collaboration with young people and their families. Facilitating access to appropriate services, including education, mental health support, and recreational activities. Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Building positive relationships with young people to foster trust and encourage engagement in their own development.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

Rates:

£38.12 per hour PAYE

£47.50 per hour Umbrella (maximum rate)
