We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated PERM Children's Social Worker to join our Duty & Assessment Team in Northamptonshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in need.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Undertaking initial assessments and investigations to determine the needs of children at risk Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families, professionals, and other agencies Conducting home visits and interviews to gather relevant information and assess the safety of children Participating in multi-agency meetings and case conferences to coordinate support services Providing ongoing support and guidance to children, families, and carers to promote positive outcomes

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification Registered with Social Work England or eligible for registration Demonstrated experience in child protection, safeguarding, and assessment work Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced PERM Children's Social Worker to join our CIC/Court Team in Northamptonshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families involved in care proceedings and child protection cases.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting assessments and creating care plans for children in need of protection Participating in court proceedings and providing testimony as required Working collaboratively with other professionals, such as health care providers and educators, to ensure the well-being of children Supporting children in care to achieve positive outcomes and transition into permanent placements Regularly reviewing and monitoring the progress of children under your care

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to child protection and care proceedings Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload
