Are you a dedicated and passionate social worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and families? Northamptonshire County Council is seeking a qualified CIC - Court Team Social Worker to join our dynamic team. As a CIC - Court Team Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to inform care plans and court reports. Preparing and presenting evidence in court, advocating for the best interests of children and young people. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure comprehensive support and safeguarding measures are in place. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families throughout the court process.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within a court team or similar setting, with a strong understanding of child protection and family law. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
