  • Conducting assessments of foster carers and ensuring they meet the necessary standards.
  • Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster families, ensuring they have the resources needed to provide a nurturing environment.
  • Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, foster parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of fostering services.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working within a fostering or children's social work setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
