Join our dedicated Family Help Team in Warwickshire as a Senior Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in supporting families and children in need. In this position, you will provide guidance, leadership, and expertise to a team of social workers while directly engaging with families to assess their needs and develop tailored intervention plans. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of families in need, identifying risks and strengths. Developing and implementing intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing supervision and support to junior social workers, fostering their professional growth. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local authority policies. Working closely with external agencies and stakeholders to coordinate services and resources.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Significant experience in children and family social work, particularly in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
