Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Join our dynamic Children's SSW - A&I Team in Birmingham, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in need. This position offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.

As a Children's Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing child protection plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Providing direct support to children and their families, ensuring their voices are heard and considered. Maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with local authority policies. Participating in regular supervision and training to enhance professional development.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust. Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in child protection.
