Join our dedicated Children's TM - Family Help Team in Gloucestershire as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in supporting families and children in need. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with families to assess their needs, develop tailored support plans, and implement interventions that promote the well-being and safety of children. Your expertise will help empower families to overcome challenges and improve their circumstances.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's and families' needs. Developing and implementing support plans in partnership with families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure holistic support for families. Providing guidance and support to families, helping them access resources and services. Participating in regular team meetings and supervision sessions for professional development.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognised social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England (SWE). Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
