Are you an experienced Social Worker looking to make a significant impact in the lives of children and families? Wiltshire Council is seeking a dedicated and skilled Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding vulnerable children and ensuring their wellbeing within the community. Your expertise will contribute to effective assessments and interventions while working collaboratively with various agencies.
As part of the MASH team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments and determining the level of risk for children and families. Collaborating with partner agencies to gather and analyze information to inform decision-making. Developing and implementing intervention plans that promote the safety and welfare of children. Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes. Documenting casework and maintaining accurate records in accordance with legal and organizational standards.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong assessment and analytical skills with a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and policy.
