Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? North Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join our committed Children’s Social Work (CSW) Team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, working collaboratively with families, and ensuring that their needs are met through effective interventions and support.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans to address the needs of children and families. Working closely with children, parents, and other stakeholders to provide support and guidance. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and reviews. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences. Documenting casework and maintaining accurate records in accordance with legal and organizational standards.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in a children’s social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
