Are you a passionate and dedicated Social Worker looking to make a difference in the lives of adults in Somerset? We are seeking a qualified Social Worker specializing in Adults Safeguarding to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults, advocating for their rights, and promoting their independence.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and reviews to identify the needs and risks faced by adults at risk. Developing and implementing safeguarding plans in collaboration with service users and their families. Working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Providing support and guidance to individuals, helping them navigate complex social systems. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local policies and procedures.To be considered for this position, you must possess:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
