We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated PERM Children's Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Northamptonshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families in the area.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting assessments and investigations into child protection concerns
  • Developing and implementing care plans to support children and families
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support
  • Attending court hearings and providing evidence as required
  • Participating in case conferences and reviews to ensure ongoing safeguarding

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in children's services
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Strong understanding of child protection procedures and legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload

Additional requirements for this position include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel within the region.
