We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding team in Bury. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and protecting vulnerable children and families in the community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Undertake assessments to identify risks and needs of children and families
  • Develop and implement care plans to safeguard and promote the welfare of children
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support
  • Participate in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews
  • Provide direct support and intervention to families in crisis situations

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding work
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
