We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced PERM Children's Social Worker to join our CIC/Court Team in Northamptonshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families involved in care proceedings and child protection cases.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and creating care plans for children in need of protection
  • Participating in court proceedings and providing testimony as required
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals, such as health care providers and educators, to ensure the well-being of children
  • Supporting children in care to achieve positive outcomes and transition into permanent placements
  • Regularly reviewing and monitoring the progress of children under your care

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to child protection and care proceedings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload
