We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated PERM Children's Social Worker to join our Duty & Assessment Team in Northamptonshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in need.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Undertaking initial assessments and investigations to determine the needs of children at risk
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families, professionals, and other agencies
  • Conducting home visits and interviews to gather relevant information and assess the safety of children
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and case conferences to coordinate support services
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to children, families, and carers to promote positive outcomes

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification
  • Registered with Social Work England or eligible for registration
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection, safeguarding, and assessment work
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
