Children's Contextual Safeguarding Advisor - CP Team - Ealing

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Contextual Safeguarding Advisor to join our CP Team in Ealing. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people in the local community.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments to identify risks and vulnerabilities within families and communities.
  • Developing and implementing contextual safeguarding plans to address concerns and protect children from harm.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency partners to coordinate interventions and support services for at-risk children and families.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to social work practitioners and other professionals on contextual safeguarding issues.
  • Participating in case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings to advocate for the best interests of children.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification.
  • Extensive experience working within child protection and safeguarding services.
  • Strong knowledge of contextual safeguarding principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize competing demands.
