We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Peterborough. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a one-duty week in four basis, providing a competitive rate of £42 per hour.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting assessments of children and families to determine their needs and develop appropriate care plans
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals
  • Providing support and guidance to service users, advocating on their behalf, and facilitating access to necessary resources
  • Completing detailed and accurate case documentation in accordance with regulatory standards

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and working within a statutory social work setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection and safeguarding
