My Client is strengthening its teams to reduce caseloads and ensure Social Workers can work effectively with children and families. This is a great opportunity for an experienced practitioner who enjoys working with complexity and making a real impact.
The Role
You'll carry a complex caseload with high levels of risk, uncertainty and challenge-suited to an experienced Social Worker who is confident in their practice.
Alongside casework, you'll play a key role in supporting and mentoring less experienced colleagues, helping to drive strong, reflective practice across the team.
You will:
- Work directly with children, young people and families to assess needs and deliver meaningful interventions
- Undertake statutory assessments in line with current legislation and procedures
- Build strong, effective relationships to promote participation in decision-making
- Manage complex and high-risk situations with confidence and professionalism
- Model best practice and contribute to a positive team culture
What We're Looking For
- Social Work England registered
- Minimum 3 years' permanent post-qualified experience in children's services
- Strong assessment and safeguarding experience
- Ability to manage complex workloads and risk
- Commitment to partnership working and high-quality outcomes
