We are seeking an Experienced Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) team in Swindon. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families. You will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality assessments, interventions, and support for children with disabilities and their families, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop tailored support plans. Working closely with families, schools, and other agencies to coordinate services and ensure effective communication. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges and access necessary resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local authority policies and procedures. Participating in team meetings, case reviews, and training sessions to enhance service delivery and professional development.To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant post-qualification experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to formulate effective intervention plans.
