Join our dedicated Children's Team as a Team Manager in the Family Support Team in Wrexham, where you will play a pivotal role in improving the lives of children and their families. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Qualified Social Worker who is committed to delivering high-quality support and safeguarding services. In this leadership position, you will oversee a team of social workers, ensuring effective case management and promoting best practices in line with current legislation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing a team of social workers to ensure the delivery of effective family support services. Providing guidance and supervision to team members, fostering professional development and continuous improvement. Overseeing complex casework, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies. Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to facilitate comprehensive support for families. Monitoring and evaluating team performance, implementing strategies to enhance service delivery.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Care Wales. Significant post-qualifying experience in children's social work, with a strong understanding of child protection and family support. Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
