Are you a dedicated and passionate social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Cardiff's Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team is seeking an experienced Children's Social Worker to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and young people in our community. If you have a strong commitment to safeguarding and a desire to work collaboratively across agencies, we would love to hear from you.

As a Children's Social Worker in the MASH team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and investigations into child welfare concerns. Collaborating with partner agencies to develop effective safeguarding plans. Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes for children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding policies.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Care Wales (or eligibility to register). Experience working within a children's social work setting, preferably in a MASH or safeguarding role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Sound knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
