We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker specializing in Learning Disabilities to join our dynamic team in North Dorset. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and their families. You will work collaboratively with a range of professionals to provide support and advocacy, ensuring that clients receive the care and resources they need to thrive.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments to identify the needs of individuals with learning disabilities. Developing and implementing personalized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families. Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients, helping them navigate services and resources. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to care. Advocating for clients’ rights and ensuring their voices are heard within the system.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and their families. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
