We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Social Work Community Team in the picturesque region of Devon. This role is essential in providing high-quality support to adults in need, promoting their well-being and helping them achieve greater independence. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals’ needs and circumstances. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with service users and their families. Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients, ensuring their rights and dignity are upheld. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals, to deliver integrated services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and statutory requirements. Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in adult social care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients. Demonstrated experience in assessment, care planning, and safeguarding vulnerable adults.
