Working Pattern: Full-time, 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Driving Requirement: Must hold a valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
Allowance: £150 per week accommodation/commuter allowance (subject to eligibility)

🔎 About the Role
We are recruiting an Advanced Social Worker for the Children's Front Door Team (formerly MASH) in Exeter. This is a key position at the heart of safeguarding, offering the opportunity to influence decision-making, lead practice, and support effective multi-agency working to protect children and families.
This role is ideal for an experienced practitioner looking to step into a leadership-focused position within a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside Team Managers to maintain high standards of safeguarding practice
- Lead the Front Door function, supporting decision-making and ensuring timely interventions
- Triage and assess incoming contacts using the Level of Need Tool
- Allocate work and sign off contacts daily
- Provide guidance and oversight to Early Help Connectors
- Act as a key point of communication with multi-agency partners and stakeholders
✔️ Essential Criteria
- Minimum 3 years' permanent post-qualifying experience (PQE) in children's social work
- Social Work England registration
- Ability to work 3 days per week in the office
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and confident decision-making skills
